This blog is a collection of material concerning the history of Woodworking of my McLaughlin family and ancestors. It starts with Great Grand Father William E. McLaughlin (1854 - 1939) who owned the McLaughlin and Son's Business from 1905 till 1947 in Langford, SD.
Grandpa Ernest William McLauglin was one of the "McLaughlin" son's along with older brothers Arthur and Vern. Ernest had 4 sons who were woodworkers also. The oldest being Guy Earl McLaughlin (GEM) who is still active making projects in his workshop.
The posted YouTube is an example of one of GEM's wood Lathe Projects done in 2013.
